The Kentucky Baptist Convention Committee on Public Affairs works to keep Kentucky Baptists advised of all matters of public policy interest to Baptists on the state, national and international levels. Of particular interest are issues regarding the separation of church and state. The committee works in cooperation with the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, the Kentucky Ethics League and other appropriate organizations pursuing similar interests.
The committee consists of 11 members: nine elected from each region, plus the KBC executive director and editor of the Western Recorder. The current KBC president serves as ex officio.
