Ultrasound Bill Passes Senate Committee

A bill requiring a woman seeking an abortion to be given the opportunity to see an ultrasound image of her developing baby before the procedure takes place has been approved by the Veterans, Military Affairs and Public Protection Committee of the Kentucky Senate. It now goes on to a vote by the full Senate possibly as early as Friday.

Here’s a link to the story from the Louisville Courier-Journal.

The bill was passed out of committee on a 9-3 vote.
